Många kloka tankar men….

I believe buy-n-hold is still superior to quant value strategies and you will be disappointed by your results. Based on my own analysis buying cheap stocks based on P/E, P/S and P/B is a very bad idea because these type of companies are usually in distress.
Tack för kommentaren. Jo, har försökt baka in mer kvalitativa kriterier.
But it is the companies in distress that I want to find! And they don't need to be in a distress to be low valued. Intel is for example among the 10 % lowest valued corporations in US above 10bn$ market cap according to PE and they have a steady cash flow and profit growth. Thing is though that if you hold on to a company forever, all the return depends on the profit of that company. I'm not confident enough that in taking that bet. Not even Buffett holds a company forever. So I might keep it for one year, I might keep it for five. When I find a better opportunity and it feels overvalued I sell it and buy that other investment opportunity instead. That is at least my basic idea. When growing more confident I might find companies I want to hold on to forever, but until then my goal is to have them for some months to some years.
